I’ll keep this short, sweet and to the point. There are times that a gorgeous bold cab are relevant alongside a perfectly seasoned filet. And that bottle of bubble tucked away for just the right occasion. But for an every day wine – a hot summer wine – a pool day wine – this is the list. I have done the hard work and taste tested a few. Here are the best in flavor if you enjoy the light, crisp flavors, for the least punch to the wallet:
- Picton Bay Sauvignon Blanc, $7.99 at Trader Joe’s
- La Vieille Ferme Rosé, $7.29 at Total Wine*
- Cupcake Chardonnay, $7.58 at Walmart
- Jaume Serra Cristalino Brut, $9.99 at World Market
- Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc, $10.99 at Total Wine *
- Friexenet Cordon Negro Brut, $11.99 at Total Wine*
- Brancott Estate Pinot Noir, $12 at Specs
*If you don’t have a Total Wine nearby, don’t fret. Yes, they are cheaper, but add a couple more dollars and you can also find these varietals at your local grocery store or corner liquor store.
Cheers,
Jana
